Stratford Festival’s Early Booking Discount ends Wednesday night (Jan. 31, 2018)

January 29, 2018… The Stratford Festival’s Early Booking Discount is available for only two more days, ending Wednesday, January 31, at 11:59 p.m. This is the only discount all season long that is available for tickets in all seating zones.

To take advantage of the discount, visit www.stratfordfestival.ca, call the box office at 1.800.567.1600, or stop by the Festival Theatre at 55 Queen Street in Stratford between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. this Tuesday or Wednesday. Discounts are already included in the pricing you’ll see. Prices increase on February 1.

The early-bird price lets you save as much as 25% on tickets for all productions in the 2018 season, which runs from April to November. Starting the season, with previews beginning April 17, is Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, followed on April 27 by Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. Both shows are directed and choreographed by Donna Feore.


May 4 sees the first preview for To Kill a Mockingbird, based on Harper Lee’s novel and dramatized by Christopher Sergel. Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night, featuring Seana McKenna and Scott Wentworth, starts previews on May 5, followed by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, directed by Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino and featuring Martha Henry, on May 10. The following day, Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband hits the stage, followed by Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors on May 15.

June 9 is the first opportunity to see Shakespeare’s Coriolanus, with famed director Robert Lepage making his Festival debut. The new play Brontë: The World Without by Jordi Mand, which has its world première this season, starts previews on June 6.

The season’s August openers include Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, the Italian comic masterpiece Napoli Milionaria!, and the world première of Paradise Lost by Erin Shields, based on John Milton’s epic poem.
