Bring your e-waste to the Toronto Zoo on September 27th and help support great ape conservation. This event, in support of PhoneApes and National Forestry Week, helps to promote the importance of protecting and replanting forests for ecosystem protection, wildlife conservation and climate change. In particular this event directly correlates to the message of protecting the forest habitat of great apes in our PhoneApes program. September is also a good time of year for e-waste collection as new students return to school many old e-waste products are being discarded.

The Toronto Zoo will be accepting Monitors, TVs, Computers, Notebooks, Servers, Wire, Aluminum, Keyboards, Mice, Electronic Scrap, Small Appliances, Laptops, Tablets and, of course, Cellphones! The collection truck will be located on the side walk near the drop-off-loop at the zoo's front entrance.
