Winter fun continues all season long at Harbourfront Centre

(News Release)

We are the perfect winter escape

TORONTO, ON (Thursday, January 2, 2014) If you’re looking for winter fun, Harbourfront Centre’s got it! This winter promises to be one of Harbourfront Centre’s most active seasons ever, filled with weekend cultural festivals, theatre, dance, family programming, visual arts exhibitions and – of course – skating on the city’s most scenic rink.

From January to March 2014,  Harbourfront Centre winter programming kicks into high gear with the continuation of DJ Skate Nights, Learn to Skate classes, NextSteps and the launch of exciting festivals and events including World Stage, Kuumba, HarbourKIDS Skating Festival, LunarFest and more.

Woven throughout these disciplines and cultural programmes is a recurring theme called the Big IDEA. In 2014, Harbourfront Centre enters its 40th anniversary year and reflects on this remarkable milestone by presenting programming that examines the Big IDEA of “Legacy.”

The public may visit harbourfrontcentre.com/winter or call 416-973-4000 for additional information. Harbourfront Centre is located at 235 Queens Quay West in the heart of downtown Toronto’s waterfront.
