The Good Lovelies are coming to Oxford County to picnic

Woodstock, ON – Oxford Fresh will be hosting “The Good Lovelies Picnic” on August 29th at the Stonecroft Folk, just outside of Ingersoll, with exceptional picnic fare including Berkshire pork & fresh local corn.


Following the picnic “The Good Lovelies” will be performing under the stars. “Returning to Oxford County for their third performance, this world-travelled group are known for their upbeat music and their intimate connection with the audience. It’s been a long wait, but oh my, will it be worth it”, said Cathy Bingham.

Pack up your lawn chair and get out of town where you can wiggle your toes in the grass, enjoy exceptional food created by JP Mooney “JP Mooney BBQ” and Chef Eric Boyar of “Six Thirty Nine Casual Fine Dining” restaurant. Pulled pork will be featured at the picnic using Kevin River’s Berkshire pork, and fresh local corn from the Godelie’s Farm along with other picnic fare with a flare!

The Good Lovelies is top entertainment scheduled to perform in the evening. They have been having a whirl wind tour of Austrailia, US, Great Britain and Scotland and just recently Alaska & the Artic.
Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore have wonderful singing voices and a quirky style that you won’t want to miss. The Picnic starts at 6pm, the concert starts at 8pm.

Directions: From the Hwy 401 exit 230 (at Mill St., Woodstock), travel south on Sweaburg Rd, through the Village of Sweaburg, past Trillium Line to Budd Line and turn left. Travel south to a “T” which is Rivers Road. Turn right and Stonecroft Farm will be on your left.
