Harbourfront Centre presents Dancing on the Pier

Move to the rhythm this summer from June 27 through to Sept. 19

TORONTO, ON -- Harbourfront Centre swings into its third year of Dancing on the Pier and transforms the waterfront into an outdoor dance floor featuring the city’s best live bands, social dance clubs and instructors.

Explore the latest cultural dance movements and trends from across the globe every Thursday from June 27 through to September 19 – all free!

Say goodbye to your two left feet and learn to move to the rhythm and sounds provided by the Toronto All-Star Big Band and The Ricardo Barboza Band.
The Toronto All-Star Big Band brings back the style and sounds of the roaring ’30s – the golden age of the big band sound, while The Ricardo Barboza Band serves up salsa at its finest! The public is invited to dance the night away at our theme nights, from “Swinging the Rhythm Dancing the Blues,” to “Toronto All-Star Big Band goes Latin” to “Hot Harmony Groups,” featuring the vocal styles of doo-wop and Motown.

Whether coming alone, with friends or with family, Dancing on the Pier at Harbourfront Centre is sure to get any crowd off their feet and onto the dance floor! While you’re down here dancing the night away, drop by Lakeside Local Patio, formerly known as Splash, to get some great food. Also checkout Lakeside Local Bar & Grill, located next to the The Natrel Pond.
