To celebrate National Canoe Day on June 26th at the Canadian Canoe Museum will offer free admission all day.

Home of the modern canoe, Peterborough has played an integral part in the story of the canoe in Canada and around the world.  National Canoe Day, founded by the Canadian Canoe Museum, is an opportunity to celebrate the ongoing vibrancy of canoe culture in Canada - events across the country include paddlers in the midnight sun of the north, in the urban rivers of the south, and canoeists and kayakers across Canada celebrating this potent national symbol by getting out on the water.
